Lunch and dinner is served to both residents and non residents in our Brasserie, Conservatory and Small Dining Room which is also used for private dining. All are informal and relaxed and the service friendly with a smile.
For this we have been given an AA Rosette and are past winner of the RAC Little Gem award.
After the meal a selection of coffee, teas and home made shortbread is served in cosy lounges with log fires burning on cold winter nights.
We take orders for dinner between 18.30hrs and 21.00hrs and as we are also open to non-residents we do get busy. We therefore recommend that to avoid disappointment an advance table booking be made by phoning us on 01225 864750.

We offer an Anglo French dining experience which showcases the very best classic English Regional and typically French Rustic food.
Our head chef, Phil Carroll is classically trained in both English and French cooking techniques and his concept for the food at Widbrook is simplicity with an emphasis on natural and honest flavours.
We offer you an informal dining experience and a menu that invites you to graze as opposed to being presented with a more formal starter, mains and dessert format.
A menu that caters for all tastes
Our menu changes with the seasons and the style of food appeals to both those who prefer the traditional and guests who like to be a little bit more adventurous. It is colourful and comprehensive, features both English and French classics and in addition there is a range of fish dishes, meat from the grill and a very good vegetarian selection.
We use fresh produce from our own garden and local farms and specialist items from the Paris Rungis market. These are complimented with bread and pastries baked daily on the premises and you can see examples of this food by clicking on our menu pages above.
