Finding happiness again, working towards welcoming you back...

In accordance with Government advice, we are currently closed for all but essential stays, but we are hoping to reopen very soon! This information is in alignment with the guidance outlined in the Covid-19 Spring 2021 Roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions.

Our doors will reopen from the 17th May, and we look forward to welcoming you and your furry friends back once again. Pawsome! We’ll raise a gin to that!

We are now taking bookings for stays from May 2021, and for now, we hope this time will pass swiftly and you can enjoy planning your stay with us.

If you would like to book a stay, all bookings are flexible and can be rescheduled if you need to. If you are thinking about making a booking for spring or summer, it's best to reserve your room soon. We are a small boutique hotel with rooms with just 19 beautiful bedrooms. We experienced quite an unprecedented number of bookings after the last lockdown!

If you have a booking that is affected by this temporary pause, please do bear with us, we will be in touch. It may be that our replies are a little slower than usual as our small team take-on the difficult task of rescheduling stays. It may be tempting to cancel your booking; but please do consider whether you can reschedule rather than cancelling. There are no penalties and your support means the world to small independent hotels like ours.

For when we reopen...

We've always been good at staying 'ship-shape' and now we're adjusting to new ways of doing things so that our care is more visible than ever, while ensuring you have the time and space to be at your happiest. One important point to note is that we are not currently servicing rooms mid-stay; this helps to ensure that your space is your own - completely untouched and undisturbed - throughout your time with us. If you require any fresh towels, toiletries and condiments please let the us know at breakfast. If you would like us to, we can service your bedroom but kindly request that you remove your belongings first (for deep cleaning purposes, we use a sanitation light but this can cause damage).

We have developed a SEVEN POINT PLAN to help you understand some of the steps we have put in place.

Please note that booking is strongly recommended if you are staying and would like to dine. Our Kitchen restaurant is a popular dining den, and as a resident, your reservation will be prioritised. If you would like to dine in your bedroom you will be pleased to know that you can do so without any tray charge.

Our pool and fitness suite are open, but booking is required as numbers are limited. Please email stay@widbrookgrange.co.uk to book. The Gin Bar will be open from 6pm, but alcohol can only be consumed when dining with us. We are currently offering room free of charge, so you can order food and drinks to  your room without our usual tray charge.

It's fair to say: we're in unusual times. It's understandable if you are feeling concerned or anxious about making bookings in the future. We are here to take bookings and we want to reassure you that they can be made risk-free. If you feel like you need to escape for a short break to reconnect and indulge, you can make a booking and cancel if you need to; please just allow 48 hours' notice.
