Two "resident" beauty therapists

We have two resident beauty therapists, Germaine and Frances. They are fully qualified and offer a range of Treatments including: Thai and Swedish Massage, Facials, Makeovers and Make-up lessons, Pedicures, Manicures and Reflexology all in the comfort and privacy of your own hotel bedroom.

Indoor swimming pool and gym

For those of an energetic nature, we have a superb eleven metre indoor heated swimming pool, always kept at a welcoming 29 degrees temperature. This is complimented by a small gym with a selection of exercise equipment to suite all ages and levels of fitness.

The facility is open to all hotel guests and there is no charge. We also we have a small leisure club of local residents who can use the facility and the charges for club membership are £365 per annum, £195 for six months or £100 for three months.

Walking and jogging

If walking or jogging is your favourite exercise, there is a countryside footpath across our land that meets a bridle way and leads onto the Kennet and Avon canal towpath then back to the hotel. This provides a not too challenging jogging circuit or a very pleasant round walk.

Golf, horse riding and cycle hire

We also have discount arrangements and tee booking arrangements with the local l Golf Clubs and can also organise, horseback riding and cycle hire.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is unlike any other kind of massage; it is an amazing combination of acupressure, massage and gently applied yoga stretches. The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to open your energy channels (Sen Lines), thereby enhancing the innate rebalancing process within your body and increasing flexibility at the same time.

Thai Massage is conducted on a futon; please wear loose comfortable clothing.

Make-Up

We use Jane Iredale Make-Up to give a long-lasting, flawless finish. The foundations provide a broad spectrum sunscreen and are effective in minimising pores, controlling shine and disguising any redness, even rosacea or temporary redness caused by laser resurfacing. Your make-up will feel light, look as natural as you want it to be and it will last all day.

Cancellations

As our therapists are very busy they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any treatments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged for in full.
